A campaign that, since it began on September 1, 2017 and until its end on March 31, has been a success and in which a total of 4,000 euros has been raised that have been donated to the Foundation Isabel Gemio.

The manager of the Malaga company Colchón La Nuit, Raimundo Artacho, has stated that “we are a company committed to society and we want to reflect it through solidarity actions that help associations, foundations or NGOs that can improve the quality of life of families most needy ”.

It was born in 2008 with the aim of contributing to accelerate research in Muscular Dystrophies, other Neuromuscular Diseases and Rare Diseases, in those biological, pathophysiological, genetic or therapeutic aspects that may influence the development and application of curative treatments to those affected, in addition to encourage the exchange of information among experts, patients and their families, and promote the development of pharmacology.

The Isabel Gemio Foundation focuses all its efforts on financing Scientific Research Projects that seek the treatment or cure for Minority Diseases, known as “rare”, supporting basic, clinical and translational biomedical research of those groups that are leaders in Research in our country, fully or partially financing projects that are part of the CIBER Network.
